MUSICAL LINE-UP (in order of appearance):

Debo Band (7:30 p.m.) is an 11-member group devoted to Ethiopian funk of the 1960s and '70s, led by saxophonist Danny Mekonnen and fronted by charismatic singer Bruck Tesfaye. This is horn-heavy music, incorporating a mix of classic funk and trance-like African grooves.

Steven Bernstein's Millennial Territory Orchestra (9:00 p.m.) takes the guise of a 1920s-era big band, but is updated with an urbane sensibility and draws from American musical influences. A longtime fixture on the downtown jazz scene in New York, Steven Bernstein and MTO plays Sly Stone, Jelly Roll, and everything in between.

Gang Gang Dance (10:00 p.m.) has honed a type of electronica that is equal parts tribal-futurism and dance music based on perfectly controlled havoc, emphasizing the ritualistic elements of their sound.

Nortec Collective Presents Bostich & Fussible (11:00 p.m.). In Tijuana, Mexico, the so-called Nortec movement took shape when producers began fusing cutting-edge electronic music with traditional music of the region such as norteño and banda. This collective explores their take on the norteño and techno blend.

Novalima (12:30 a.m.) is the band that has revolutionized the music scene in their native Peru. Novalima combines a passion for traditional Afro-Peruvian music and modern DJ culture. Their shared fascination with afro beat, dub reggae, latin, and electronic music has resulted in platinum status and worldwide touring.

* Times subject to change.
